Dorm Room
Most prominently, I'm a video game developer. I played video games all throughout my childhood, starting with my grandfather acquiring a NES and Duck Hunt. Since then, I have acquired dozens of video game consoles, played countless hours of countless games, and have turned that hobby or passion into my job.
I first figured out I wanted to be a game developer when I bought Half-Life 2 for the Xbox and subsequently learned that the game was capable of so much more on PC. From then, I begged my parents for a PC strong enough to play it, and eventually I got a (pretty crappy) PC, but I got The Orange Box and was off to the races. I started tinkering in Team Fortress 2, modifying and creating maps. Then, Alien Swarm mapping, then I learned to program and went to college for Game Programming. I was hired out of college at Bend Studio and worked for years on their largest title, Days Gone.
